Bonkers Review (Lemon Tree x Cookies & Cream) – Sherlock’s Glass
Bonkers (Lemon Tree x Cookies & Cream) – Sherlock’s Glass
Bonkers from Sherlock’s Glass (Lemon Tree x Cookies & Cream) ended up being one of my favorite jars I’ve had from them so far.
I’ve tried a few things from staefli and while they were solid, nothing really stood out to me. To be fair, I’ve mostly had the fruitier profiles and I’ve heard their funky stuff is where they really shine. This one though doesn’t try to do too much — it just does what it’s supposed to do really well, and that’s what makes it stand out.
Nose
Leans bright and sharp. More citrus-forward than candy sweet. There’s a creamy layer sitting underneath it, but it doesn’t really come out until you go looking for it.
Taste
This is where it really starts shining.
Straight lemon rind/zest on the inhale — not sweet, not artificial, just that legit citrus peel flavor like you rubbed it around in your mouth. Then it rolls into a creamy dough on the exhale that comes in a little later and smooths everything out.
Definitely a mouth stainer.
Texture
Right where I like it. Wet, glossy, and easy to work with. Not over-whipped at all.
Didn’t end up messing with the jar much before the photo — honestly didn’t feel like it needed disturbed and it looked solid as-is.
Effects
Pretty clean overall. Starts a little uplifting and keeps you engaged without getting in the way. Not something that’s gonna shut you down unless you really push it.
Final Thoughts
This is one of those jars that isn’t trying to be the loudest thing out — it just sits comfortably in its lane and does it well.
Flavor is clear, the high is easy, and it’s something you can keep going back to without getting tired of it.
if you end up grabbing this one or anything else from Sherlock’s Glass, you can use code BLUEGRASS. Helps me keep these reviews coming.
